Description
Paget, Walter Stanley (1863-1935)
The youngest of three brothers, Walter was a prolific illustrator of many boys' books and books of adventure. These included many of Henty's later titles, and he made wash- drawings and watercolours for a number of first editions and cheaper reprints. His earliest work for Henty was dated 1893, so most of it was considerably later than that of his brother, and fellow illustrator, Henry (Newbolt, 1996, p. 632)
